Cleaning and Disinfecting:

ADDED PROTECTION

Added Protection and Protocols

Areas beyond common, high-touch surfaces

where “Primary Disinfection Protocols” are inaccessible or

the area is too large to provide proper Primary Disinfection

Provides an Extra Layer of Protection

The key to successful cleaning and disinfection is to ensure the common, high-touch surfaces and areas that bear the brunt of traffic are properly cleaned and disinfected regularly. Areas where touch cleaning and disinfecting protocols cannot be reached or adequately implemented require an added layer of protection. These areas are classified as:

1. Hard-to-reach outside common high-touch areas

2. Irregular surfaces making common touch surfaces difficult to disinfect.

Recommended Deployment of Added Protection Disinfection Protocols

  1. Wherever possible, when deploying extra layers of disinfection protection, ensure all treated surfaces are visibly wet to maximize your efficacy of disinfection.
  2. In added protection, only use EnviroNize® approved product solutions with the EnviroNize® Deployment Devices.
  3. Wherever possible, combine both pre-wetted EnviroNize® microfiber towels using the appropriate EnviroNize® solution. Always clean utilizing EnviroNize® Catholyte and disinfect utilizing EnviroNize® Anolyte in conjunction with the EnviroNize® added protection deployment devices. This process will maximize disinfection efficacy through wiping down surfaces first, followed by device deployment.
  4. Added Protection disinfection protocols does not replace the efficacies established by EnviroNize® Anolyte on primary touch surface disinfection.
