Pro-Cert Organic Systems Ltd. (Pro-Cert) is one of North America’s foremost national certifier’s of organic products. With a client base including producers, processors and traders from across Canada and the United-States of America, Pro-Cert has become one of the most prominent players in the certification field.

Pro-Cert’s certification program is recognized globally providing international access to the products and brands we certify. Our program is accredited under the USDA National Organic Program (NOP), the CFIA’s Canada Organic Regime (COR) and the Quebec’s Committee on Accreditation for Evaluation of Quality (CAEQ). Pro-Cert’s certification program is ISO 17065 compliant and accredited by IOAS – a globally recognized accreditor.

Global Access

Pro-Cert’s numerous accreditations ensure global access by providing certification to the following core programs and their equivalency arrangements.


Pro-Cert is accredited by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to provide third party certification to the Canada Organic Regime (COR) and its equivalency arrangements, COR/NOP and COR/EU.


Certification to the USDA-NOP involves two alternative options. The first is organic certification to the NOP with no additional requirements for clients whose products are intended only for sale in the USA. The second is organic certification to the NOP as required for products which will be sold in the USA or exported to the EEC, Japan or other foreign markets – COR/NOP, NOP/EU, NOP/JAS.
